I consider Academic-ish to be a safe space for knowledge production which the rigid structures of academia do not allow. I truly admire and passionately support their endeavours to bring knowledge outside the silos of university departments and allow cross-pollination of ideas and even, specialisations. I also consider their work revolutionary given the current neoliberal environment. I have learned more from them than any school or college curriculum. The readings are pure delight to read. Further, the engagement with text moves beyond information discovery to how it interplays with our personal experiences.
